The stage production of Sweeney Todd has lighter moments throughout – it’s a little bit of a roller-coaster ride. The intro shot is the finale moment of Act 1, celebrating Mrs Lovett’s scathingly brilliant “idea”. 

In the second shot the “Judge” that wronged Sweeney all those years back has arrived for a “shave”, Toby has been gotten drunk and Sweeney is anxiously awaiting his opportunity for revenge. Mrs Lovett is a little exuberant welcoming the official…

My gosh, tomorrow and Saturday will be everyone’s last opportunity to see the show – one definitely not to be missed. This quality performance doesn’t come along out this far very often.
