The first thing one sees in the actual show numbers, just before Anthony comes on, is Sweeney standing in a very, very dark corner of the stage. It took a bit of magic to bring this exposure to life. I avoid shooting at iso 51,200 because I don’t like how the camera handles the raw file for that – I underexpose by 2 stops or more at 12,800 and go from there. This time I really like what I got (not possible with the first image below, with “Anthony” in the spotlight).

Lighting varied dramatically – from low to a combination of low and extremely bright. Effective for viewing but tricky to work with.
