The first exposure is actully from dress rehearsal, where I could grab a better vantage point, limiting any interference from the music stand. My favorite. I’m including a regular rehearsal shot here, catching more detail of the interaction (no cane on the table). The set for Sweeney Todd has to be so complex that an actual performance would have to be captured from multiple angles to do it justice. As it was, I spent the entire shows fast-pacing back and forth a couple of aisles behind the crowd in order to get what I got (hefting four pounds of camera and lens – exhausting)…
