"Hey, there's a shot…" (from Nan) – and the rest of First Friday
Jun 13, 2024
That’s how the intro shot here, and the one following, came about. The young lady stood out First Friday – and was gracious enough to respond to the camera with a smile. Turns out her and her husband, in the second shot here, operate Bay Breeze on Franklin Street in town (by the way, I could see my reflection in his glasses). No surprise that we are unfamiliar with them, we have to avoid shops that handle scented soaps and candles like the plague – at least I do. Allergic to almost all of them. Next to the couple is Snow White, who showed up in spite of the strong sun to talk to the kids
For the first time Harmer’s Town Art Center, pretty much adjascent to the closed streets of First Friday, held an event in conjunction. It included art demonstrations – here Wayne Werner, a local silver/gold-smith, shows a young man how to polish his own silver ring.
And this is an addition to my Street-Chess collection of images…
Big posting – gotta bet back to Rogue Swan work. The rest are all Drum Circle images, don’t believe I’ve ever emerged from First Friday without at least one Drum Circle shot. If it wasn’t for the one I used, the first one below would have been my intro shot…
Again, the folio is HERE…
