I like it that I’m finally getting to do some fun shots of the Sweeney Todd rehearsals. The opening shot is of Ron (the banker), without the beard he sported a few days ago in a posting, at the head of a pack of citizens running scared. I promished him that I would quickly show an “after” the shave to his “before”. I didn’t promise him I would try to make him look good – where would be the fun in that.

In the shot below, James (Sweeney) is trying to read his script on the floor while he is holding a “dead” Amy (Lucy Barker), who doesn’t have many lines at this point in the story:
