Admittedly these were as close to torture as I wanna get, but at the same time a little fun. Today, the last rehearsal with crappy light and crappier background, I’ll try and shoot a few with this in mind. It might make it a little easier and better. I’d like to get one that I both like enough and is sharp enough to actually print large. Th first one here works pretty well, except for catching a little hand motion – normally great, but a little off with this treatment. Lilli, Jess and Arianna…

Last is a large group shot – not nearly enough depth of field in that light, but it’s still better than if showing the State Theater reconstruction in the background. Here Jesse, center, will be the only one not a “monster”…
