I’m approaching images of “Wicked” one number at a time. There are actually too many for even reguar postings, and I’m so backed up on other photo projects, so I’ll hold it to one posting per number. For example, this number was the intro number to the show – “No Return” and “Cirque Dans La Rue” that kind of run together as the stage moves from frozen to choreographed chaos. Lilli Burril-Gordon, the Director selected four images from my color jpegs, Nan picked three more and I added one. Four appear here today – the other four will be on hold to be included in the pdf eBook of the show, at the end.

I really like the intro image here because, at the end of the song, the cast joins James, who has just sung “…while you are watching us,” in singing “…we’re watching you!” Not everyone is there, but most. The next shot is another wide stage exposure, just one of the fast-action quickies that I was working to catch…

I think I’ll be happy to finish up with Wicked and work some catch-up on The Hushdown, Godspell and a couple of other forays with the camera by the end of the year, arrrrgh!
