"Something Wicked" – Drumming Song, the very zombified final number in Act I…

Nov 14, 2025

Yay, the half way point. With so many players in the shots, it got tricky. But the worst was two of these – good catches on stage views with Lilli’s lyra spun in an awkward direction. I had to pull very close exposures of the lyra to move over for both of them – not changing anything, just matching the timing. Then there were a couple of players' feet to replace when speakers and lights were removed. Good times. These are all wider stage shots, best viewed larger of course…

Tomorrow Nan and I sit down, forever, to go through Act II exposures, selecting potential b&w material. To be honest, alone it would take me closer to a week to do all the numbers. Working together we manage it in hours rather than days.

Went through my my collection of pdf eBooks and compared that list to our collection of Rogue Swan books and zines. I’ve begun setting up the process of turning the eBook files for the first four vaudevilles into three zines (the first two will go into the same volume). Again, we will keep one and give Rogue copies.  One thing I noticed recently is that the place I use to print the zines has added 11x14 to the size list – cool. I’ve been having to go with 8.38x10.88 in order to come close, making some of the trickier measurement calculations a little trickier. This is smething to accomplish late this coming winter.
