I just spent the morning working up a shot of Ron Furrow playing trumpet for Rogue Swan – had to be sharpened too much for comfort, far too enlarged, but I like it for some reason. He just succumbed to heart problems after months of serious operations and attempts to keep him going. Far too young and nice for this to happen. I worked this intro shot, plus retrieved a couple of others from the files for Facebook. There is another Wicked posting ready, but I’ll wait a little on that. Below you can see that Ron was a member of the Barbershop Quartet in all of the Vaudeville performances. Ron, recovering from an unusually traumatic open heart surgery, attended this Fall’s vaudeville and we got to talk to him for a while between acts. We let ourselves get so encouraged – this was a shock for everyone.
