PUFFS – "Lumos" / rehearsals are long, exhausting and fascinating…

Mar 27, 2025

Well this was unexpected. At this point in rehearsals, worthy shots are kinda infrequent. I didn’t expect much, even after the shoot. But between Lilli and myself (only one addition) there are easily two postings worth. Hopefully this evening there will be LESS.

In the opening shot Will turns the lights on with “Lumos”, after Caleb fails. One interesting note about Caleb: no one, and I mean nobody is better at the putting on an utterly confused, empty, nobody-home look – definately a Puff. Gives me a whole new, albeit unexpected, angle on him.

Next – first another from the previous rehearsal of Marion bringing out her inner deva, and Arianna daring Marion, on broom, to take the stolen (I’m not sure what it is in this play yet).

Fuffs group fright…

And two of Katie – playing a very, very excited and unaware young Puff, and later a quickie as a member of the French contingent…

Katie always knows hot to work a stage.
