In the intro shot Caleb, James and Nate get ready for the first number on the agenda. The show is billed as “a night of mischief, magic and mayhem”. Rogue cast is working very hard on making this year’s ambitious effort the best yet.

I have a few more coming from this stint in the garage – kinda tricky to work up. Then again, all performance shots are “tricky” and require extra steps. Horrible, unpredictable lighting combined with the need for a fast shutter speed. My go-to default when there is simply no time to think through an exposure is 1/250 of a second / f4 or 5.6 / ISO on auto with a cutoff of 12,800 (if it is underexposed even at that, I raise it manually in the file). Shooting at 5 frames a second (usually 3 to 5 exposures) gives me a chaotic but workable mess to beat my head against.
