Three more cast photos in the run-up to the October, Halloween vaudeville. Possbly overkill in that the primary use will be inch and a half images in the program, but an opportunity to get good shots of some great people. The intro shot is of Matt – band leader, saxophone, guitar, keyboard and just about anything else needed. At the same time he seems to be one of those guys that just look cooler the older they get (yes, I’m jealous).

These two can always be counted on to dress to the hilt – Jessy G, back on board from starting a family, and April, fresh from a belly-dance performance:

The following image was shot during a location-switched rehearsal that was so dark that exposures were 4 stops underexposed even with an ISO setting of 12,800 (pretty much standard with Rogue rehearsals). I can’t set the camera iso higher because there it refuses to do needed 5fps bursts. I took the raw file and ran it through DXO’s new extreme x-file noise reduction and exported that to a Photoshop RAW file.Then in Photoshop I worked on it for a seeming eternity. Voila – I still don’t know how I feel about it, or where the ability to do this might actually yield something “good”. By the way, it was totally useless in color.

Ps: that calculates out to an insane exposure ISO of 208,800……
