I held off working on April Monique’s set of images until late in the postings for a couple of reasons – April manages the shows and is always anxious to see everyone who performs to get their pictures posted, and I like to approach the end with shots of a strong dancer. April’s performances are unique in that no-one so pointedly translates every musical beat into body movement. Some of this was evident in her student group at the start of the show, but her solos are always great to watch…
