A few days ago I had an hour to kill while making our wheat bread – you can’t go too far from the kitchen at that point. I spent it playing around with a more graphic treatment of a standing shot of local rock group The Hushdown. They use the seated version taken the same session, so I didn’t want to mess with that. I like the result so I’m posting it here – the batch of bread, as usual, turned out magnificent!

I have no idea if it has any function or use – but I have the seed of one. Photo-zines are becoming a big thing, and I’ve been doing a few high-end zine-books for Rogue Swan. I’m thinking of working up a couple of regular lower-end zines, smaller, thinner, etc. This shot would make a cool cover shot gray non-coated heavy paper. Just a thought…
