In 1982 we spent a month in Acadia National Park in Maine hiking, trekking and photographing the great variety that is there. The project was financed by selling "pledges" for final prints. A number of weeks after returning, patrons attended an exhibit and reception at which each selected the work of their choice. There were forty images in the original collection. A few have been exchanged for other exposures – sometimes because I was years "discovering" the exposures among the negatives. Originally prints were created in the darkroom. Now negatives are scanned and prints produced digitally. In the book: Acadia – A Portrait
